The purpose of this header is to customize the blog and make it more appealing to read. The audience in this situation would be classmates and instructors so I my goal was to create a header that fit my personality. First of all I had to fix the size of the document to 700 by 225 pixels. I then began by covering the entire area with a rectangle and filling it with black. Next, I saved a picture of Audrey Hepburn from the internet and placed it on the workspace. I then live traced it and expanded it to give it the black and white look. Then, I selected stylize and gave the picture a feather to make the edges softer. I then used the spiral tool and placed five spirals throughout the piece. I changed the color of them to blue and gave them all various stroke sizes from 2 to 4 pts. Next, I went to dafont.com and downloaded a font to use to type my name and the class title. Finally, I saved the file for both web and high end print.
